Quality of life is always the goal of what we do, but it will be a question we will re-visit often when we reach this stage of your pet's life.
For some patients, combining western and eastern medicine will give them the best pain control and comfort. We will discuss different drug combinations, frequency of acupuncture/laser, herb and supplement options to optimize their quality of life.
I try to be available for this service within 24 hours of a request.
While I do not offer emergency services/care, if you feel your pet urgently needs to be euthanized, please call and I'll do my best to get to you as soon as possible.
End of Life Care
The most difficult part of having a pet...people often tell me they'll never have another pet because they don't want to go through losing one again.
And I always ask: Why do you think it is so difficult?
Don't lose sight of why.
It should be difficult.
Compassionate euthanasia. Yes, it is a compassionate choice. It's a gift you give your friend. Euthanasia at home, where you and your pet are the most comfortable.
If you're looking for someone to come to your home and provide a kind, stress-free euthanasia for your pet, call me. I'll explain the process and what to expect. The fee varies a bit depending on each situation and your location, and I encourage people to let me transport their pet to a crematorium afterwards, which is included in the cost.
If, however, you are looking for a different experience with euthanasia, click on the link Apana For My Pet to read more about a different approach I offer to our pet's death:
